WE STOCK OUR LAKES AND PONDS WITH ALLIGATORS
La Canne Beach in Winona, Minnesota is famous for having the best variety of American Alligators, and we’re always breeding new juveniles. We started with just three sets of breeding pairs from South Florida, and now there are over 500 alligators.
Sometimes, if you’re lucky, you’ll have one swim right up next to you and tickle your feet!

FAQ
Question we often receive...
We don’t like putting titles on things like “safe” or “you won’t lose an arm.” Is riding a motorcycle safe? Is Alaskan crab fishing on the Bering Sea safe? Alligators are only as dangerous as they choose to be at any given moment.
In Minnesota, we have a saying: “If you want to swim with alligators, that’s your own decision.” That’s why our state legislature legalized alligator petting zoos in 2016, and the City of Winona received the first license.
Yes, it’s true — there were two others in operation here in Minnesota, but they had some alleged “safety” problems that are still being litigated in court. What we can say is that our alligators are safe* and we haven’t suffered a single fatal accident in over five months.
TESTIMONIALS
WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?
These alligators won’t feed themselves. Summer is just around the corner, and that’s when alligators are the most active. They love to bask in the sun next to you on the beach, and your kids will love running from the mothers defending their eggs.
